Join us for a 3 day immersion into stand up paddle (SUP) yoga!
Day 1 - World Paddle Association (WPA) Level 1 Certification
Designed to educate and inform all levels of instructors with water safety and preparation, on day one we cover the fundamentals of paddling, which includes:
Board and Equipment Purchasing
SUP Etiquette
Safety Planning
Injury Prevention
Water Dynamics
Boating Laws
Board & Paddling Skills
Rescue techniques
Water Safety information
After learning all the techniques of day one, students will receive a Level 1 paddle board instructor certification from the WPA

Following the paddle certification on day 1, days 2 and 3 will cover floating asanas, sequencing, and all the other intricacies necessary to adapt your current land based practice to the water.
Day 2 - Developing a Floating Asana Practice
Let’s learn how to navigate the waters together. Now equipped with the skill set acquired through the WPA, here we will build upon these skills so that we can turn the Pacific Ocean into a floating yoga studio.
Including:
Class set up and preparation
Asana modifications/ contraindications
Sequencing
Anchoring
Weather preparation
Day 3- Teaching
Now fully equipped with the knowledge of paddling and how to cater your asanas to the water, on the final day we put it all together. Everyone will get a chance to guide and be guided!
Once we are back on land we will wrap things up by discussing the nuances and business of yoga. You will leave with the confidence, knowledge, and certifications to safely host a paddle board yoga class in your own unique style.

This training is an investment of $1095.00 this includes your board rental, a swag bag and a weekend of BLISS. A $300.00 deposit is required to reserve your sop
